The Agenda for the meeting of the Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC), set for next week has been made available. The meeting will be cancelled, however, if Congress doesn’t provide funds to operate the US Government past tomorrow night.
The US Government having been kept in business for another week, the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC) started a two-day meeting on April 12th. The agenda previously discussed was modified such that the day started with the discussion of Seafarer Access Shore Leave Policy

Mariners’ Second Amendment Rights
The final item considered in public by NMSAC on the first day of the meeting was a presentation on US seamen’s Second Amendment rights delivered by mariner Donald Hamrick. Mr. Hamrick started by distributing copies of an anti-TWIC
